How Abdul Monnaf Photography collects, uses, stores and protects personal information, including the photographs and films we create at your events.
Effective date: 1 August 2026. Last reviewed: August 2026.
Abdul Monnaf Photography (“we”, “us”, “the studio”) provides wedding photography, wedding films and event coverage. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, during bookings and at the events we cover, and how that information is handled. It applies from 1 August 2026.
We collect only what we need to plan, deliver and support your booking:
We do not sell personal information and we do not use your details for unrelated marketing.
Your galleries and films are private by default and shared only through links we send to you. We may use a small selection of images or clips in our portfolio, on this website or on social media only where your booking agreement allows it. You can ask us at any time to exclude your wedding, or specific people such as children, from any public use, and we will respect that request for all future publications.
Information is shared only when needed to deliver your booking: with second photographers and editors working under a confidentiality obligation, with album printers when you order an album, with cloud storage and gallery providers that host your files, and with payment providers that process transfers. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our legal rights.
Files are stored on encrypted drives and on reputable cloud services with access limited to the studio team. Original files are kept for twelve months after delivery so we can replace lost downloads; after that we may delete them. Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted within twelve months. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data.
You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted where we no longer need it for the booking, for accounting or for legal reasons. You may also withdraw permission for portfolio use at any time. We will respond to requests within thirty days.
Weddings are family events and children often appear in photographs and films. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through this website. If you would prefer that children at your event are not included in any public portfolio use, tell us and we will make sure of it.
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services or in the law. The effective date at the top of the page will always show the latest version. Material changes affecting existing bookings will be communicated to you directly.
